VIVAnews - The Maria Monique Last Wish Foundation is an organization that fulfills last wishes of children with terminal illness. As part as our continued efforts to help the underprivileged children of Maria Monique Last Wish Foundation, the Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta and The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place as well as The Associates of JW Marriott and Mayflower Executive Apartment, are organizing a major Charity event themed "Wheels to Heal" which involves hotel guests, staff, business partners, media, and public figures, that will go by bicycle, wheelchair or walk from The Ritz-Carlton, Pacific Place to The Ritz-Carlton, Mega Kuningan.
The main objective of this event is to raise funds to purchase 1000 wheelchairs for children under Maria Monique Lastwish Foundation. You can participate in this in two ways, either as a participant in the event for only Rp 50,000, or as a donor. If you wish to donate, please contact Mr. Suryadharma or the Director of Marketing, Mr. Theo Ocks at theo.ocks@ritzcarlton.com. You can also fill out the attached reply form.
"Wheels to Heal" will be held on Sunday, 30 November 2008, starting at 7.00am.
Starting Point: The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, Sudirman Central Business District, Jl. Jendral Sudirman Kav. 52-53, Jakarta.
There will be 2 routes:
1. Bicycle Route:
The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place --> Jl. Jend. Sudirman take U-turn in front of di Ratu Plaza --> Jl. Jend. Sudirman take U-Turn in Bundaran HI --> Jl. Jend. Sudirman --> turn left and enter Jl. Satrio --> Take U-turn before Jl. Rasuna Said --> Mega Kuningan
2. Non bicycle route
The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place --> Jl. Jend. Sudirman take U-Turn in front of Ratu Plaza --> turn left and enter Jl. Satrio --> take U-Turn in front of Apartment Sahid --> Jl. Satrio --> take U-Turn before Jl. Rasuna Said --> Mega Kuningan
