VIVAnews - A number of non-governmental organizations visited the Corruption Eradication Commission to support the anti-graft agency. Transparency International Indonesia Chairperson Todung Mulya Lubis emphasized that the agency should not be disbanded.
"We still need the agency," said Todung on Wednesday, July 15.
For the time being, he said, Indonesia's corruption perception index is still considered low at 2.6. Given the rate, the anti-graft agency should work harder.
"The agency can be removed if the index reaches 5," he said.
