Indosat Receives Award from WSJ

VIVAnews - Indonesian telecommunication company PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) is awarded Top 10 Indonesia's Most Admired Companies by the Wall Street Journal Asia.

Indosat is presented the award in two categories: Corporate reputation and innovation.

"We're proud of being listed as one of the Most Admired Companies in Indonesia according to the survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal Asia 200," said Indosat Director and CEO Harry Sasongko on Nov 10.

"This is a form of people's trust toward Indosat," he said.

He further claimed that the award, especially on Innovation, is in line with the company's positioning.

The Asian survey has been started since August 2008. The survey is aimed Asian companies listed in the stock exchanges as well as multinational companies running their businesses in Asia.

The respondents of the survey are readers of the Asian Wall Street Journal who are mostly business people, executives and professionals.
